The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers designated Green Harbor’s east jetty as one of four local projects it will fund in its New England District work plan in 2016.
The jetty breached during Winter Storm Juno in January 2015, about five months after a $1.3 million jetty repair project.
During the storm Feb. 8, the breach “doubled in size,” Harbormaster Mike DiMeo said.
