Curtin Maritime Awarded $31.5 Million Port of Baltimore Dredging Contract

Curtin Maritime Corp., Long Beach, California, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging of approximately 2,250,000 cubic yards from deep-draft federal navigation channels serving the Port of Baltimore, Maryland. The amount of this action is $31,519,647 with a total cumulative face value of $31,671,147. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Maryland, with an estimated completion date of March 31, 2027. Fiscal 2023 and 2026 civil construction funds; and fiscal 2024, 2025, and 2026 civil operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $31,519,647, were obligated at the time of the award.
