Throughout his tenure at DSC, Meyers has earned numerous certifications and undergone extensive training, including All Welding, AWS, Safety, CPR, Lock Out Tag Out, and Management Training. In reflecting on his journey, Waldon Meyers expressed gratitude to several key figures and colleagues. “I would like to acknowledge Bill Skipper for giving me the chance to get started in this line of work, and all the employees who have made my time at DSC joyful and rewarding. I am also deeply grateful to the Wetta’s for believing in me and helping me become a better manager.”

Bob and Bill Wetta, brothers and co-owners of DSC Dredge, remarked, “Waldon has been an integral part of DSC’s growth and success. His dedication and expertise are unparalleled. He has always been a key person in overseeing our Poplarville facility, and there are no doubts that he will continue to lead our Poplarville team.”

Waldon Meyers is optimistic about his future with DSC, stating, “Great things happen to people that have patience.” His leadership and vision are set to guide DSC towards continued success and innovation in the dredging industry.
