Corps seeks public comments on riverbank stabilization project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is seeking comments on its draft Environmental Assessment, or EA, for the Upper Sioux Community Minnesota Riverbank Stabilization Project.

The proposed project is located in the Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, along the Minnesota River within the Upper Sioux Indian Community.

The project will help stabilize the Minnesota River streambank of the Minnesota River for long-term beneficial impact to fish, wildlife, wetlands and agriculture by reducing erosion and flooding.
