SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Sullivan County Park and Lake Board of Directors will formally request “a public pledge of support” for the ongoing Sullivan Lake Dredging Project from the Sullivan County Council during an upcoming meeting.
During an upcoming public session, the board of directors will request a vote from the county council to officially designate the dredging project as a “priority project” for Sullivan County.
“This project is vital for the long-term health, recreational value, and economic impact of our lake and surrounding community,” said Chris Egge, Project Manager for the Sullivan County Lake Dredging Project. “A formal designation as a priority project will provide the necessary momentum to ensure the project’s successful completion and continued benefit to our residents.”
