The Omani Government has prequalified nine international marine engineering firms to participate in a tender for the construction of a Bulk Liquid Berths Terminal at the Port of Duqm.
The $1bn contract will see the successful bidder carry out the design, dredging, reclamation and jetty works for the new terminal.
The contract, which encompasses primarily the marine infrastructure facilities, represents Package 1 of the Bulk Liquid Berths Terminal project.
