MPA bids to dredge Yangon River for better navigation

Myanma Port Authority’s Tender Acceptance and Evaluation Committee called for local and international companies for dredging work in the Yangon River for channel improvement with adequate dredging equipment, extensive experience and technology in channel dredging. The Myanma Port Authority invited a preferred bidder to operate dredging work for a three-year term from the 2025-2026 financial year to the 2027-2028 financial year. The tender process will be carried out following paragraphs 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 of the procurement directive 1/2017, and the contract will be signed on an annual basis each FY. Those interested can purchase the tender applications and forms at the Central Store, Botahtaung Township, by 3 pm on 19 May. Tender applications can be submitted to the MPA head office by 1 pm on 20 May, and the tender opening will be held at 2 pm on that day.
