5 Latvian ports, 2 Dutch dredgers, 1 dedicated team!
This summer Filia Dredging has dredged the ports and fairways of 5 Latvian ports!
Our hopper dredger Biesbosch in combination with bed leveller Rayador made for a very efficient dredging operation in all 5 ports.
In Salacgriva we dredged the fairway and the port basin, including hard-to-reach corners and shallows.
In Skulte we dredged a compensation area near the breakwaters. We used the dredged sand to replenish the beach South of the Southern breakwater.
In Roja we did an annual cleanup dredge.
In Ventspils we dredged for the 3rd year in a row in different spots throughout the inner port area.
And in Liepaja we are currently dredging various channels and among quays to accommodate deeper-draft vessels for this year’s grain season!
