WINCHESTER, Va. — The Transatlantic Middle East District (CETAM) awarded the Navy P974 Electrical Systems Upgrade contract March 24 to Contrack Watts Inc. for $34,030,929.00. This project constructs services to support operational requirements at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain by providing a more resilient medium-voltage distribution system.
USACE is supporting the U.S. Navy with Facilities and Infrastructure to support mission requirements in the C5I complex, which is home to U.S Naval Forces Central Command/U.S. 5th Fleet Headquarters (NAVCENT/C5F HQ) and components as a primary communications center and network hub providing services throughout the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR).
The period of performance is March 24, 2022 to Oct. 19, 2024.
