Dredging operations on Lake Decatur are slated to resume today after a monthslong winter break.
Crews for Great Lakes Dredge & Docks, the city’s contractor, will continue operating in the Big Creek area for three to four months, said Jerry Stevens, engineering services coordinator for the city’s water management department.
“They’re getting up to the end where there’s a lot of brush, stumps, things like that, that’s going to take them awhile,” he said.
