APS signs contract for the implementation of a logistics park in the Port of Santos

Posted on June 17, 2026

The area, located on the right bank, will have a truck parking lot with an initial capacity of 400 spaces.

The Santos Port Authority (APS) signed a contract this Thursday, June 11th, with the Portlog consortium for the implementation of a logistics park in Santos. The site will include a truck parking lot with 400 spaces and support services, aiming to facilitate entry and exit at the Port of Santos and avoid overloading the region’s roads and highways.

“This logistics park will be an essential support to meet the demands of the future Tecon 10 container terminal,” recalled the president of APS, Anderson Pomini.

The logistics park will be located within the container cluster on the right bank of the Port of Santos, close to the main highway access routes to the port.

The area, ceded by APS, is approximately 240,000 m² and is located on Avenida Augusto Barata, between the Alemoa and Saboó neighborhoods. The Portlog consortium will be responsible for implementing the parking lot and also constructing a support structure. The parking lot will have an initial minimum capacity of 400 static spaces, along with the buildings and support structures necessary for its operation. The project must be designed and sized to meet the operational flow corresponding to up to 530 spaces, with expansion occurring gradually, according to the evolution of demand.

Regarding the support area, buildings intended for logistics support services should be constructed with a minimum area of 86,000 m². Warehouses, sheds, and other structures may receive services such as maintenance, certification, transformation, rental, purchase and sale of containers, among others.

Two other residential complexes will also be built soon to help with this logistics: one in Cubatão and the other in Conceiçãozinha, in Guarujá.

Implantation

APS will have 30 days to expressly state its lack of objection or to request clarifications or modifications to the Basic Implementation Plan (PBI) presented by the Portlog consortium.

If the PBI (Project Biological Innovation) is subject to a request for supplementation or modification, the APS (Social Security Agency) will inform the assignee of the reasons for this and establish a deadline for submitting the new PBI with the corrections.

After this stage, the concessionaire will take over the area, and the contract will come into effect. Portlog will have up to three years to make the infrastructure available. The concession will be for a period of 20 years.

The concessionaire may charge for the services offered and must pay APS the amount of R$ 289,000 per month starting from the 36th month of the contract, for the onerous concession of use of the land.
