Dredge Robotics has announced the appointment of Roy Andrich as the company’s new operations director, a move that will help accelerate growth in robotic dredging.
Andrich brings over 25 years’ experience of operational and strategic leadership to the role, having worked across the energy, engineering and industrial services.
In a statement, the company said Andrich will play a critical role in driving performance by aligning Dredge Robotics’ strategy and operations to integrate and scale their proprietary technologies for the company’s expanding Tier-1 and Tier-2 clients in the mining, industrials and utilities sector.
Speaking on his new role, Andrich noted the exciting opportunity of continuing to strengthen the company’s position in the market.
“I’m excited to join Dredge Robotics at such a pivotal stage of its growth. I look forward to scaling our operations and expanding the deployment of our robotic platforms to further enhance safety, operational performance and value for our clients.”
Andrich’s career highlights include pioneering robotic inspection in the Asia-Pacific with integrity management services provider ROSEN and, most recently, driving commercial performance across the region as regional director at Oceaneering Australia.
“Roy is a pivotal hire for Dredge Robotics. As we continue to scale at pace, maintaining rigorous standards of safety, reliability and performance for our clients remains our core focus,” Dredge Robotics chief executive officer Antony Old said.
“Roy’s proven ability to deploy advanced technology solutions in challenging environments while evolving operational capability makes him a strong fit with our growth plans.”
