The JDR Services team have begun the cable termination & testing works on behalf of their client Parkwind for the Arcadis Ost 1 Offshore Wind Farm.
The development will comprise 27 Vestas V174 9.5MW WTGs and will be situated in the Baltic Sea, north-east of Germany, with a capacity of up to 257MW.
The offshore site covers an area of approximately 29km2, with depths ranging from 4 metres to 50 metres.
The project includes a HV/MV offshore substation to connect the wind farm to the grid.
