Arcadis IBI shows vision for proposed Innisfil Orbit GO station in images

The proposed Innisfil GO station south of Barrie, Ont. will serve as the anchor of the new Orbit community

INISFIL, ONT. — Arcadis IBI Group has released new Innisfil GO images of the proposed station, an infill station on the Barrie GO line south of Barrie, Ont. that is intended to serve as the anchor of the new Orbit community.

The Innisfil GO images were released on X, formerly Twitter. The developer of the mixed-use transit-oriented community is Cortel Group.

The developer describes the Orbit as a “cutting-edge smart city with a perfect blend of Innisfil’s existing small-town charm and rural appeal.”

The community will feature residential, retail and office space. The site is located at Sixth Line and 20th Sideroad.

The Town of Innisfil has secondary planning documents posted on its website.
