NSW Government has committed $455,000 for navigational dredging of Yamba boat harbour to improve boating access, Clarence MP, Chris Gulaptis announced.
“This important project will improve safe navigation for the commercial fishing fleet and recreational vessels,” Mr Gulaptis said.
“Around 20,000 cubic metres of sand will be dredged from the channel and pumped on to Whiting Beach where it will be used for nourishment of the sands on the beach.
