On July 29, NB 977 for Island Offshore arrived at Vard Langsten in Norway, marking an important milestone on her journey towards completion. 🚢
After departing Vard Shipyards Romania – Brăila at the end of June, the vessel continued to Vard Shipyards Romania – Tulcea, where the hull was connected to the main tug before beginning the voyage to Norway. At Vard Langsten, the Ocean Energy Construction Vessel (OECV) will now enter its final phase of outfitting and completion.
NB 977 is a hybrid-powered Ocean Energy Construction Vessel of VARD 3 25 design, developed to support offshore operations with greater efficiency and a reduced environmental footprint.
