The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Scott as Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain, effective June 1, 2026. His appointment follows a competitive international executive recruitment process.
Scott has more than 30 years’ experience working in ports, including across marine terminals, transportation, logistics and industrial operations. Most recently he served as board chair and interim president of Fibreco Exports, and president and CEO for trucking company Coastal Pacific Xpress. At Coastal Xpress he oversaw a strategy focused on renewal, growth and long-term success as the business prepared to be sold. He has also previously served as president and CEO of Port of Vancouver terminal Fraser Surrey Docks, leading the terminal’s diversification into the handling of bulk products and overseeing its successful sale to current operator DP World.
Scott’s extensive industry leadership experience includes serving as deputy secretary for the General Stevedoring Council, chair of the Fraser River Industrial Association, and chair of the BC Maritime Employers Association.
He is actively involved in supporting his community including volunteering his time and serving as Chair of Options Community Services.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, a Diploma in Shipping and Marine Operations from BCIT, and an Institute of Corporate Directors designation from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
