In rambling speech, former president and current candidate promises to halt sector with an executive order and blasts Biden’s ‘green scam’

Former President Donald Trump vowed to stop offshore wind development off New Jersey’s coasts during a rambling speech at the tourist destination of Wildwood Saturday.

“You won’t have to worry about governor Murphy’s 157 windmills,” he promised the crowd gathered along the beach at the Jersey Shore destination, apparently referencing Shell-EDF’s 1.5GW Atlantic Shores project to the state that will deploy 157 turbines.
