Last week, our colleagues Jacolene de Klerk and Craig Faure attended the 11th edition of the Junior Indaba in Johannesburg — a premier gathering for explorers, developers, and investors shaping the future of junior mining across Africa.
The event featured insightful discussions on creating an enabling environment for junior mining, updates on South Africa’s cadastral system, financing challenges, ESG considerations, and the role of junior miners in supplying critical minerals .
It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with old friends and industry leaders, share perspectives, and explore how innovation and collaboration can unlock new opportunities in the sector.
We appreciated the chance to meet with project developers, investors, and service providers focused on Africa’s junior mining space. A big thank you to the organizers at Resources for Africa for hosting such a dynamic and relevant event.
