RightShip Appoints Maria Psaltaki as Chief Product Officer

Posted on July 13, 2026

RightShip, a leading safety and risk intelligence platform, today announced the appointment of Maria Psaltaki as Chief Product Officer, effective 13 July 2026. Maria succeeds Marlon Grech, who decided to conclude his tenure following four years of leading the evolution of RightShip’s product and technology capabilities. The transition builds on the leadership evolution RightShip announced in May 2026 and reflects the company’s continued investment.

Marlon Grech joined RightShip through the acquisition of Thynk Software in 2022, which he had founded – the first pivotal step in RightShip’s transformation journey. Since then, he has led the evolution of the company’s products, championed building the technology platform that underpins RightShip’s next generation of digital and AI-enabled solutions and established its product and innovation hubs in Malta, Vietnam, Singapore and London.

Maria brings extensive experience leading AI-first product organisations and scaling enterprise SaaS platforms. She joins RightShip at a pivotal stage in the company’s journey and will build on these foundations as the organisation continues to accelerate innovation and deliver greater value to customers across the maritime supply chain.

Commenting on the appointment, Steen Lund, CEO of RightShip, said:

“This appointment of Maria Psaltaki represents another important step in the leadership evolution we began earlier this year as we continue building the capabilities needed for RightShip’s next phase of growth.

Marlon has played a defining role in building the product organisation and technology platform that underpins our transformation today. His contributions have laid strong foundations for the future, which our customers and all of us at RightShip are grateful for.

Maria brings the customer focus, product leadership and experience to build on those foundations as we continue to strive to deliver greater value for our customers and partners.”

Reflecting on his journey, Marlon Grech said:

“Joining RightShip has been an exceptional journey. Together, we’ve built far more than a platform. We’ve built a product organisation, established innovation hubs in Malta, Vietnam, Singapore and London, and most importantly, worked alongside our customers to solve meaningful challenges across the maritime supply chain.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together and grateful to everyone who has been part of that journey. RightShip is well positioned for its next phase of growth, and I look forward to seeing the team continue building on the strong foundations we’ve created.”

Maria Psaltaki said:

“RightShip has built an exceptional platform, product organisation and culture of innovation. I’m excited to join at such an important point in the company’s journey and build on the strong foundations already in place.

I look forward to working closely with our customers, partners and colleagues across the business to continue developing solutions that create meaningful value for the maritime industry.”

This continued leadership evolution reflects RightShip’s commitment to combining deep maritime expertise with world-class capability in technology, AI, data, product, and commercial excellence, positioning the organisation for long-term growth while continuing to create greater value for customers.
