New commander Lt. Col. Jessica Rose takes the lead at 38th Aerial Port Squadron

The 38th Aerial Port Squadron welcomed a new commander to its ranks Nov. 15, 2025, during a change of command ceremony at the Air Base Commons here.

Master Sgt. Elizabeth Guerrisky, Special Handling Supervisor assigned to the 38th Aerial Port Squadron, officiated the ceremony, which signaled the passing of the squadron guidon to new commander, Lt. Col. Jessica Rose.

“Great leaders build more leaders not followers,” Rose re-assured her new military family as she addressed the squadron.”We must be ready to lead, ready to support, and above all ready to win,” announced Rose after accepting her new role as commander of the 38th Aerial Port Squadron.
