Nick Fawle has joined Milford, Mass.-based Milton Cat’s sales team as marine market manager with a focus on new engine sales in the Northeast territory.
Fawle has more than 20 years of marine industry experience. He spent six years with Cummins where he sold marine, industrial and truck engines. He also worked for New England boatbuilders including Morris Yachts, Alerion Yachts and True North Yachts. A yacht captain and avid boater, he enjoys time on the water with his wife and three children.
“I am excited to be onboard with Milton Cat and am looking forward to supporting our customers moving forward,” Fawle said in a statement.
Caterpillar Marine added the Cat C32B Triple Turbo 2,433-mhp (2,400-bhp) high-performance diesel to its offerings earlier this year.
The company also announced that sales manager Kevin Hampson is retiring. Hampson began his career at Milton Cat in 1979 as an engine mechanic. In the last year, he has been preparing Fawle to take the engine-sales helm.
“Kevin has been an anchor in Milton Cat’s Marine business for 40 years,” said Scott Matel, vice president of Power Systems. “If you are in the marine business in New England, you probably know Kevin personally. Although his knowledge will be missed, he has left Nick in a great position to build on his legacy.”
