BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) — Beaches in Harrison County have not been restored since 2007. Now, a project looking to turn back the clock on years of erosion is making progress.
So far, 250,000 cubic yards of sand have been pumped from the Mississippi Sound to beaches in Biloxi.
While beaches are looking refreshed in some areas, the new look has raised questions about the height of the sand and how it may make its way onto Highway 90.
