Gulf Copper is pleased to announce the promotion of Ed Schendzelos to General Manager, effective immediately.
Since joining the company in August 2022, Ed has consistently taken on new challenges and delivered results at every level. He has progressed from Scheduler to Assistant Project Manager and, most recently, served as Estimating & Planning Manager, where he led efforts to expand both our repair and new-construction business across the commercial and government sectors.
Ed brings strong technical expertise as a Marine Engineer, holding a B.S. in Marine Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from Texas A&M University at Galveston, and as a former Licensed U.S. Merchant Marine Engine Officer. His experience managing complex marine repair and maintenance projects has contributed to reliable, on-time, and on-budget execution.
He is a clear communicator, a strong leader, and a consistent advocate for both our employees and our customers.
