It has been an honor and my distinct pleasure to have served you as the Deputy District Engineer for Planning, Programs, and Project Management these last 6+ years! We have come a long way in that time, and I’m confident that we have built irreversible momentum in setting conditions to succeed and realizing achievements that produce outstanding value to the Nation via the Civil Works Program in Texas on America’s Energy Coast.

I transitioned this week to become the Director of the Environmental Laboratory at the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center, which is located in Vicksburg, MS. It is an exciting new role, where I will definitely take what I’ve learned in serving and working with you at SWG, and translate that for leading development and infusion of new capabilities on the national and international scale into practice for continually improving the value proposition that USACE brings to its sponsors and stakeholders.

You are all a fundamental part of the successes that SWG has achieved and will achieve, ramping up a significant portfolio of feasibility studies that have led to significant new construction projects across the NAV, FRM, CSRM, and ER Business Lines. And the best is still yet to come, considering future potential authorizations and appropriations!

I know that SWG will continue to serve you extremely well into the future. Please reach out if I am ever able to be of assistance in my new role going forward.
