On April 1st, DSC Dredge welcomed Chris Baldwin as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Baldwin brings 15 years of experience in the maritime industry, with a strong background in commercial leadership and business growth.
Prior to joining DSC, he served as Commercial Director for a harbor tug service provider, where he played a key role in expanding the business, improving revenue and margins, and maintaining high levels of customer retention.
A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Baldwin earned his degree in Finance in 2011.
In his new role, Baldwin will oversee Dredge Sales, Parts Sales, and Marketing, working closely with Product Support to strengthen alignment across DSC’s revenue-generating functions. His leadership comes at a pivotal time for the company. “Chris brings a strong combination of industry experience, commercial discipline, and customer focus,” said Bob Wetta, President & CEO. “His ability to grow businesses while maintaining long-term relationships aligns directly with how DSC operates.”

A Louisiana native, Baldwin was born and raised in New Orleans and takes pride in continuing his career in the region. He and his wife, Ella, have three children.
