Dredging Clam Pass became a top priority Tuesday night when it was added to the Naples City Council agenda at the last minute.
On Wednesday, the council approved a right-of-way permit application submitted by the Pelican Bay Services Division to allow their contractor, Energy Resources, Inc., access and egress at Horizon Way Beach on Gulf Shore Boulevard North, near Venetian Village, to move heavy equipment necessary to dredge the popular beach destination.
