Arcadis today announced four senior leadership appointments to drive growth across key regions and service areas.

As outlined in 2025 Full Year results, Arcadis is refocusing the business on high-growth markets and moving to a sector and service model – Water, Energy & Power, Technology, and large infrastructure projects – where demand provides long-term visibility.

These appointments support Arcadis’ focus on scaling high-value capabilities aligned with long-term client demand. They also strengthen the company’s ability to capture growth opportunities in markets where clients are increasing investment in infrastructure resilience, energy transition, environmental compliance, digital delivery and complex program management.

Herschel Acosta will join Arcadis in August overseeing approximately 1,200 Arcadians across project and program management, cost management, construction management and project controls.

His appointment will be pivotal to bringing greater certainty for clients in the delivery of large-scale capital programs and reinforcing Arcadis’ program management platform in the Americas.

Herschel brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience, most recently with KAI Enterprises where he was President of KAI 360 and a Board Member, and before that spent 20+ years at Jacobs, advancing through executive leadership roles. He has led multi-billion-dollar portfolios, built high-performing teams, and driven growth across the commercial, federal, state and education sectors.

Rebecca Hewlett will lead Arcadis’ regional Environmental Services business helping clients navigate complex environmental, sustainability and regulatory challenges across major infrastructure, energy, water and natural resource projects.

Rebecca brings more than 25 years of international consulting and leadership experience, with a track record of building and transforming environmental businesses across APAC, Europe and North America.

She has held leadership positions with Xodus Group, Jacobs and Coffey (now Tetra Tech) with experience in service excellence, portfolio development, P&L leadership and capability building across highly regulated and technically complex markets.

Renaye Peters joins to strengthen Arcadis’ leadership in transport infrastructure and asset-intensive environments.

Renaye brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience across property, infrastructure, construction and mining. She has held executive roles withmQueensland Rail, Monash University, AECOM, Brisbane Airport Corporation, Visionstream and Leighton Contractors.

Her experience and client relationships span major precincts, transport networks and complex delivery environments, including university, airport, rail, cultural and urban renewal assets.

Toby Haughey will support energy, utilities and industrial clients with transformation, performance improvement, capital program optimisation and decarbonisation strategies.

With more than 20 years of experience across consulting, energy and infrastructure, Toby brings strategic insight and delivery expertise from senior roles with McKinsey & Company, Shell and the British Army.

He has worked across global organisations, national energy companies and government entities, advising clients on operating model design, business transformation, capital program optimisation, mergers and acquisitions, sustainability strategy and new business development.

His appointment strengthens Arcadis’ ability to support clients as they invest in more resilient, efficient and lower-carbon energy systems.

Heather Polinsky, Chief Executive Officer at Arcadis, said: “Arcadis’ growth ambitions depend on our relationships and ability to bring the right expertise to the markets and services where our clients need us most.”

These appointments strengthen our leadership in areas of sustained demand, from major infrastructure delivery and environmental services to energy transition, transport and digitally enabled design. Each of these leaders brings a strong track record of client engagement, building businesses, leading teams and delivering outcomes for clients, and their appointments underline our confidence in the long-term growth opportunities ahead.
