Global consulting engineering firm Arcadis has appointed three new business unit directors in Canada.
Vancouver-based Audrey Muir joins the firm as leader of its Canadian mobility advisory unit. She has more than 30 years’ experience in transportation consultancy, team leadership and project management across North America and the U.K., most recently with CBCL in Halifax from 2012 to 2021 and Steer in Vancouver from 2021 to 2024.
Lucy Casacia, based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), joins as leader of the business advisory and shared services unit. She has more than 25 years’ experience from both the owner’s side and owner’s engineering teams, including stints with JNE Engineering, BHP, Siemens and WSP.
Finally, Nazeef Khalil, also based in the GTA, has been promoted from senior project director to leader of the design and engineering unit. Specializing in environmental engineering and sustainable infrastructure, his 24 years’ experience includes roles with Wallenius Water Innovation, Stormceptor, LEA Group, QatarEnergy and Cowi.
In their new roles, Muir, Casacia and Khalil will lead their teams in tackling pressing infrastructure and mobility challenges.
