Congratulations to Sigbjørn Akselvoll, who has been awarded Hedersprisen 2026 at Den Maritime Klyngekonferansen.
With an impressive 60-year career in the maritime industry, from Langsten to what is today VARD, Sigbjørn has played an important role in developing new vessels and solutions, building expertise and strengthening the maritime cluster we are proud to be part of today.
Throughout his career, collaboration with colleagues, shipowners, designers and suppliers has been a driving force – contributing to jobs, strong local communities and putting Norwegian shipbuilding and ship design on the world map.
