NB 978 has arrived at Vard Langsten in Norway! Watch the video of the impressive vessel arriving Sunday 18th October.
Earlier this autumn, the vessel departed from Vard Shipyards Romania – Tulcea and has now safely completed her journey. The vessel will now undergo commissioning and final outfitting at Vard Langsten ahead of its scheduled delivery in Q1 2027.
NB 978 is based on the VARD 3 25 design, developed in close collaboration between Island Offshore and VARD. Once at Vard Langsten, she will be positioned alongside its sister vessel NB 977, which is also under construction at the yard. 💡
Being the 41st vessel built for Island Offshore; NB 978 represents another milestone in our long-standing partnership. As part of the FINCANTIERI Group, we are proud of our close collaboration with Island Offshore and look forward to continuing to build on this strong relationship.
