In May and June, VARD organized Open Yard, inviting visitors to explore our shipyards and discover the many opportunities we offer. While similar events have been arranged in the past, this marked the very first time Open Yard was carried out simultaneously across all sites, with strong collaboration between the yards. The events strengthens pride among our employees, reinforces our “One Team” spirit, and highlights the impact of what we create together.

This simple remark from a young visitor touched the hearts of many and perfectly captured the spirit of Open Day: not only showcasing a workplace, but also strengthening the connection between families and the professional journeys of their loved ones.
Take a look at the exciting Open Yard at Vard Vung Tau on 31 May, where over 2,000 visitors stepped inside the yard for a memorable experience. The visitors had the opportunity to tour NB 964 for Windward Offshore GmbH & Co. KG, take part in STEM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and other interactive experiences for all ages.
