An important milestone for VARD and Windward Offshore!
We are proud to announce the delivery of Windward Hamburg from Vard Vung Tau. The fourth CSOV delivered to Windward Offshore.
With Windward Athens, Windward Paris, Windward Munich and now Windward Hamburg, all four purpose-built CSOVs have joined the Windward Offshore fleet. Based on our proven VARD 4 19 design, the vessels are built to support offshore wind projects with flexible, efficient and future-oriented solutions.
Windward Hamburg is 87.5 metres long, 19.5 metres wide and accommodates up to 120 people. The vessel features a motion-compensated gangway with integrated elevator, electric motion-compensated crane, height-adjustable boat landing system and battery-hybrid propulsion, prepared for future operation on green methanol. The completion of this series marks another important milestone in the long-standing partnership between VARD and Windward Offshore. 🤝
