We are pleased to welcome Kolbjørn Moldskred and Andreas Backlund to new positions in the VARD sales team!
Kolbjørn Moldskred joins as SVP Sales, bringing with him more than 30 years of maritime experience — including two decades in ship design and vessel sales. He comes from Ulstein Verft and officially started with VARD on June 1st.
“I am looking forward to taking on new challenges in my new position and to be part of the large international VARD Group,” Kolbjørn says.
Andreas Backlund is transitioning into the role of VP Sales, after a solid track record in project management at VARD since 2020. He started his journey at Vard Søviknes in 2012 and brings deep operational insight to his new role.
“From the beginning of my career, I’ve always worked on the operation side, and I now look forward to joining the sales team and using my competence in a new way,” says Andreas. He will continue in his project manager role until after the summer.
