Last Saturday, Van Oord was honoured to participate in a strategic dialogue session with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten, and leading CEOs from the Netherlands, held as part of the State Visit.
The roundtable underscored the strong and deepening relationship between India and the Netherlands, with a shared focus on areas of mutual strategic importance, including energy, infrastructure, innovation, and knowledge exchange.
For Van Oord, the session provided a valuable opportunity to exchange insights on key themes including energy and port infrastructure, maritime development, and climate adaptation. Having witnessed India’s transformation over recent decades, the company recognises its strategic importance and is eager to draw on this experience to play an active role in supporting the country’s future development through marine ingenuity.
Van Oord thanks all participants for the constructive dialogue and aims to play an important part in contributing to the Strategic Partnership 2026–2030, which aspires to further strengthen ties between India and the Netherlands.
