Climate Adaptation Action Plan

As part of the celebration of Van Oord’s 150th anniversary in 2018, we had the honour to host former Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, Christiana Figueres. She gave a powerful speech emphasizing the need for action to limit the effects of climate change, particularly for the world’s most vulnerable communities. Van Oord has responded to her call for action by developing the Climate Adaptation Action Plan. The Climate Adaptation Action Plan is meant to encourage meaningful dialogue between relevant parties and should result in solutions to create a better world for future generations.
