Tresios’ team calculated the required structures and equipment using FEA models, for safe and efficient lifting, sea-fastening, and positioning of the cargo vessels in three stacks. The project took eight weeks. The cargo was shipped aboard the general cargo vessel ‘Sun Rise’, which sails under the flag of Comoros. Built in 1994, the ship measures 98.18 metres in length and 18 metres in width. It has a gross tonnage of 5471 tonnes.

Tresios coordinated between involved parties including the client, shipyards, transportation vessel management team and local subcontractors for vessel preparation. The project documentation was reviewed and approved by the Shanghai based Engineering consultant DNV China. This included transportation analyses, vessel motion analyses, procedures, lift plans and drawing packages for sea fastening and lifting.
