The Russian government has allocated 9 billion rubles from its reserve fund. for the construction of vessels to increase sea and river transportation and the development of Arctic routes. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the Cabinet’s website.
With the help of funds allocated to Rosmorrechflot, the construction of a marine ferry will continue to organize regular passenger traffic between the ports of the Far Eastern Federal District, as well as ice-class maintenance and rescue vessels, necessary, among other things, for the organization of transportation along the Northern Sea Route.
In addition, the construction of a marine diving vessel, which will be operated in Crimea, will be completed.
