Texas A&M to Host Coastal Engineering and Nature-Based Solutions Short Course in Galveston

The coast is constantly changing — and the engineers shaping its future must be ready to adapt.

Join us September 8-11, 2026, in Galveston, Texas, for the 4th Annual Coastal Engineering & Nature-Based Solutions Short Course, offered by Texas A&M University’s Department of Ocean Engineering at Texas A&M University in collaboration with TEES EDGE.

Designed for entry- and mid-level practitioners, this immersive four-day course combines expert instruction, hands-on laboratory exercises and field experiences by bus and boat to bridge the gap between coastal engineering theory and real-world application. Plus, earn 2.40 CEUs and receive an official Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) Certificate of Completion.

Participants will explore:
