Team effort played big part in securing grant to build dredging containment facility in Lake County | Editorial

It’s always great to see local and state government officials join forces to solve a serious problem.

We saw this kind of a combined effort in the quest to successfully secure state funding for a project in Lake County that will benefit the area’s economy.

Lake County recently was awarded an $11.3 million grant to build a facility that will accept and provide containment for dredged material from the federal navigational channel in Fairport
