SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco Bay Ferry’s South San Francisco terminal will temporarily close beginning Nov. 1 to allow for dredging work in the Oyster Point area.
“The dredging project, being conducted in partnership with the San Mateo County Harbor District, will help maintain long-term waterway depths in the Oyster Point area, supporting safe navigation for SF Bay Ferry vessels and other marine traffic. Routine dredging is performed every five to seven years based on waterway depth analysis,” the agencies stated.
