The Buxton coastline looked partially refurbished on Thursday, August 6, as crews continued to pump loads of sand onto the North Carolina beach as part of a nourishment project.
Jenni Koontz of Epic Shutter Photography captured this footage showing machinery pumping sand onto the beach to restore the shoreline.
“Hopefully with the combination of the jetty rebuild and the beach nourishment, Buxton will be thriving for years to come!” Koontz told Storyful.
