Weโre proud to reach another major milestone in our partnership with OMS Group as we celebrated the twin keel laying for ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ย and ๐๐ฆ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ต. The ceremony marks the official start of construction of OMS Groupโs G (GREAT) Class fleet.
At a time when the telecoms industry faces an aging global fleet and rising demand for data cables, CS Genesis and CS Triumph bring a step-change in installation capacity and capability. With two large cable tanks and dual firing lines, the vessels will reduceย downtime and maximise operational versatility for OMS Group.
These new-build vessels will enable OMS Group to:
- Deliver greater operational independence
- Support more complex and large-scale subsea installation projects
- Strengthen network resilience for hyperscalers, carriers, and governments
- Advance sustainability through improved energy efficiency and propulsion systems
