After setting sail from our Kinderdijk yard in the Netherlands, the first of two high-capacity electric dredgers for Kenmare Resources Plc has successfully landed on the shores of Mozambique.
Following the sea voyage, the dredger was floated on a barge and delivered to a purpose-built beach landing area near the Moma Titanium Minerals Mine, a carefully planned logistical feat in the Wet Concentrator Plant (WCP) upgrade project.
This marks a major milestone in the journey of these vessels and in our long-standing collaboration with Kenmare.
Built for large-scale mineral sands extraction, these fully electric Cutter Suction Dredgers will help unlock decades of titanium-rich production from one of the worldโs largest deposits.
