𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
When Harlyn was appointed to manage the long-term storage of 2,500 metres of spare export cable, they needed reliable equipment and expert support, fast.
Our team delivered a 15-tonne breakback tensioner from our rental fleet, deployed to the Port of Blyth with full operator support. The tensioner ran 24/7 to spool off the cable from the Orient NBO Barge and transfer it safely into a storage basket.
Reflecting on the collaboration with our rental team, Harlyn shared: “The on-site support was close by and ready to go alongside our operators. The rental team were fantastic to work with, their customer service was attentive, and their proactive approach really supported us through this phase of work.”
