Rohde Nielsen has successfully completed maintenance dredging works at the Port of Geraldton, Western Australia, for Mid West Ports Authority.
Works included the removal of unconsolidated materials from the new Berth 1 development area, as part of the ongoing Geraldton Port Maximisation Project (PMAXP).
Additional works included maintenance dredging of the Entrance Channel, and Inner Harbour Basin and Berth Pockets to maintain declared depths.
The campaign was undertaken by TSHD Modi R, supported by RN engaged sub-contractors for seabed levelling, onshore reclamation management, hydrographic survey, and marine fauna observation works.
