Port Houston has approved additional design work for refrigerated container infrastructure at its future Bayport Container Yard 9.
Once built and fully equipped, the new yard will provide capacity for more than 1,800 refrigerated containers.
Container Yard 9 forms part of the continued expansion of Bayport Container Terminal as Port Houston adds capacity to accommodate further container growth.
The latest approval advances the dedicated reefer infrastructure required for the new yard.
