Nicole Kach joined the PNWA team as Government Relations Specialist in March 2026. She brings experience in federal policy, legislative research, and strategic communications, most recently serving as a Legislative Assistant with the National Waterways Conference, where she tracked appropriations and water resources policy and supported stakeholder outreach. She also served as a Communications & Public Policy Fellow with Voices for National Service, developing advocacy materials and engaging with national policymakers. Her background also includes service with AmeriCorps as Pacific Region Team Leader and an internship in the office of U.S. Senator Edward J. Markey (D-MA), focused on environmental and energy policy.
Kach earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where she graduated with honors and held multiple leadership roles in Student Government Association, Model United Nations (MUN) and others. She resides in Vancouver and looks forward to discovering more of the Pacific Northwest.
