Pacific Dredge & Construction (PDC) recently completed maintenance dredging at the B Street and Broadway Pier Cruise Ship Terminals with the Port of San Diego. Utilizing the PDC 180 dredge, crews performed precision knockdown dredging between Broadway Pier and B Street Pier, as well as along the north side of B Street Pier. Working within strict environmental requirements—including the use of a double silt curtain—and around an active cruise ship schedule, PDC successfully completed the work to the required design depths. Another successful project showcasing PDC’s ability to perform specialized dredging operations in active, environmentally sensitive waterfront facilities.
