Ten years ago, offshore wind in Taiwan was primarily a vision. Today, we’ve installed 199 turbines offshore, supported by our local team of around 200 colleagues 🤝
This progress in Taiwan’s offshore wind industry has been made possible through partnerships, local talent, and a shared commitment to the energy transition.
From supporting the development of Taiwan’s first offshore wind construction quay and investing in Formosa 1 to building offshore wind at scale, it’s been a decade of teamwork and close collaboration with local and international partners.
At Energy Taiwan 2026 last week, we celebrated Ørsted’s 10th anniversary in Taiwan with more than 70 valued partners who’ve made this journey possible.
We were also honoured to receive three awards from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, including the Outstanding O&M Award.
